Mother’s Day!

Happy late Mother’s Day to all the beautiful, strong, wonder women out there lols. For Mother’s day, my siblings and close friend and I threw a little bbq for my mom. I didn’t have time to fully decorate the way I planned or make macarons but we got the important dishes: clams, steaks, chicken kabobs, sangria and last but not least roasted marshmallow! Although it was chilly and breezy we had a great time with great people and great food. I hope everyone enjoyed their Mother’s Day. Thanks for reading!

 

 

 

Room Decor

Wow! It’s been a while since I’ve updated my blog. Just didn’t have time and I tend to forget so with that being said get ready for a spam of posts in your feed . I’ve always loved decorating growing up, not saying that I am great or anything, but I really enjoy it. So lately, I’ve been trying to transform my room a little here and there and so far this is what I have. I bought the clothes rack form ikea for $10 to use as a fashion rack for inspiration, the faux sheep rug from ikea for $10 also! The table I got about a month or so ago from ikea from the malm collection for about $150, it really is a great table for organizing makeup. I got the tiny little shelf for $7, on sale at target, what  a great deal! oh and the mirror I got from Marshalls for $25, it was a really great price for a mirror that big. Hello, it was so beautiful out today. While I was trying to decide on what to do, I decided to do this look, however I didn’t get the photo until it was dark. Also, I spent friday night and this morning at my sister’s place and we had crazy snacks and she made us breakfast!

So, today my cousin, her husband and my little brother decided to do a photo shoot. I did her hair and makeup and her husband and my little brother took the photos. We went with this soft purple look, it looks darker in some pictures because of the lighting though. Hope you enjoy and thanks for reading!
